Volunteers are extremely valuable and carry out a wide range of tasks which help to ensure the smooth running of the festival. We encourage a can do attitude, if it needs doing the nearest person does it! We try to provide a variety of tasks in session which might include - distributing leaflets & maps; stewarding marquees; helping traders & visitors, cleaning tables, litter picking & waste bin management; children's activities helping set up & take down tables, chairs etc.; car parking. However, if there are any duties that you are unable / unwilling to carry out please let us know below. Any specific duties that you would prefer (please note that we can’t guarantee what duties that you will be assigned):

Your health, local knowledge & skills *

We are delighted to have you as part of the team, but we do not wish to risk your health. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from undertaking certain activities, please let us know. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Local Knowledge

Do you possess sufficient local knowledge to be able to direct visitors around the town (e.g. toilets, cash machines, named shops & pubs etc.)

Special Skills

Do you have any special skills that may be useful, e.g. catering, admin, marketing & P.R., I.T., first aid, project management, children’s entertainment? Would you be helping over the three days, or are you interested in helping with the organisation of the festival in the months before it?
