Getting to the Festival 2017-08-08T13:24:24+00:00

Nantwich Food Festival attracts a lot of visitors and a number of convenient edge-of-town parking locations have kindly been provided by supporters of the festival. We strongly advise visitors to take advantage of these, so you can minimise time spent searching for parking. Instead, spend that extra time enjoying the festival. Frequent bus services to and from the town centre will run from

12 Midday to 5:45pm on Friday,
9:30am to 5:45pm on Saturday and
10:00 to 4:45pm on Sunday

The buses will be running a circular route and there may be a short wait during peak times.Please note Friday is usually less busy, so why not schedule your visit for then?

Park and Ride will be charged at £2.00 per vehicle, a proportion of which will go to local charities.
public transport
Nantwich enjoys great public transport links, and we would encourage visitors to consider using these as an alternative to using the car. Nantwich is on the Manchester/Crewe/Shrewsbury/Cardiff rail line.

Arriva Trains provide convenient travel along this line. Nearby Crewe station provides connections for Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, North Wales etc, while Shrewsbury station provides connections for Wolverhampton, Hereford, Aberystwyth etc.

disabled car parking

Disabled car park spaces (for disabled badge holders only) can be found in the town’s pay and display car parks. Please note there will be limited on-street parking in the town.

During the course of the Food Festival, a number of parking bays along the area backing onto the Dysart Buildings car park will be available for disabled parking only.

These restrictions will operate from: 6pm on Wednesday 30th August to 6pm on Monday 4th September.

The parking bays will be clearly marked during the restriction dates and parking in the area will be free for an unlimited time providing a blue badge is clearly displayed and vehicles are correctly parked in the marked bays.
