Countdown to Nantwich Food festival is on!
13th July 2017

Local, national and international companies are once again supporting Nantwich Food Festival that is preparing for another record-breaking weekend later this summer.

The countdown to September’s festival started in earnest this week when key sponsors joined festival directors and Nantwich Mayor, Cllr Penny Butterill, for a formal photograph in the town centre.

Marquee sponsorship is coming from Mornflake, The County Group, Cheerbrook, Hall Smith Whittingham, AGA, Bentley Motors, Engenie and Nantwich Town Council, amongst many others.

Other supporting partners include Rhino Safety, TR Creative, Nantwich Discovered, The Food Safety Company, Bumblebee Digital, Nantwich & Elim Church, Cheshire East Council, Reaseheath College, Rodney Densen Wines, Redshift Radio, South Cheshire College, Delmar Press, Crown Hotel and Cheshire’s Silk FM.

This year, the festival is expected to attract up to 50,000 visitors across the three-day food, drink and entertainment spectacular.

John Coulter, Nantwich Food Festival director, said: “Each year we are delighted with the support and generosity shown by local companies who help to deliver such a fabulous festival that we are all so proud of.

“Several new businesses have now joined us and we will be able to stage yet another outstanding event that will show Nantwich in all its historic glory.”

Across the weekend there will be entertainment, exhibitions and demonstrations, offering something for everyone at this family-friendly celebration of food.

Access to the Nantwich Food Festival is free, with a packed programme of events scheduled to take place from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 September.

In Nantwich, the HSW office is located on Monks Lane near the town centre in a beautiful Georgian building which dates back to 1780.

We're all huge fans of Mrs Darlington's, and of course we wanted to help promote an event for a great cause:

As many of you will be aware my nephew Max suffered a severe head injury during a day out with my children Jack & Mollie last March. It was a terrible time and the weeks that followed were very dark days indeed but thanks to the incredible skill of the whole team at Alderhey Children’s Hospital Max has made an astonishing recovery, although he still has a journey ahead of him over the next few years.

The care and skill shown by everyone at Alderhey was truly humbling and we decided that we wanted to do something to raise funds to continue their amazing work and the idea of the Beeston Bake-Off and Grand Afternoon Tea was born ( well we have plenty of Jam for the scones at least!)

The date is Sunday September 10th at Allan & Wendy’s home and we have lots of lovely things planned so it will be an afternoon to remember…

I have tickets ready to go so please let me know if you can join us, it would be great to see you all,

Love
