What's On

Our 2007 festival leaflet summarising all events is available to download here (PDF 323kb).

Mill Island hosts the main festival events including the huge gourmet food marquee, the cookery theatre, the wild food workshop, the wine pavilion plus much much more. Opening times and prices and more details here.

The emphasis is on wild food at this year's festival, and we have a real outdoor expert in Dave Watson to introduce you and guide you in your foraging.

Don't leave Nantwich without taking time to explore our historic streets and alleyways, visit our interesting independent shops and admire our beautiful flowers, and there are festival events taking place around town to tempt you to do just that.

The CAMRA Beer Festival, one of the largest in Cheshire, opens at 5pm on Festival Friday and continues throughout the weekend giving a more relaxed experience of the Food & Drink Festival. Why not give real ale a try here?

Events for children include the highly popular Kids Kitchen with Amanda Grant and new this year non-alcoholic Cocktail Workshops with the Behind Bars Group.

A number of evening events will also be taking place around the town including a bit of culture - "In the Mood for Food" at Nantwich Library which mixes poetry, music & local food, and “A Gourmet Food and Wine Evening” at Rookery Hall.
