Visitors Nantwich in Cheshire is a charming riverside market town with a rich history, a wealth of beautiful timber-framed buildings, a wide range of speciality shops, a local museum and one of the finest Mediaeval Churches in Britain. Travel to Nantwich By public transport Nantwich is on the Manchester/Crewe/Shrewsbury/Cardiff railway line: Arriva Trains Wales provide comfortable and convenient rail travel along this line.  Nearby Crewe station provides connections for Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, North Wales etc, and Shrewsbury station provides connections for Wolverhampton, Hereford, Aberystwyth etc. Train timetable here. There is a £1 discount on entry for people traveling to the Festival by train. A valid rail ticket proving you have arrived in Nantwich by train that day must be shown to claim the discount. By car You will have no trouble finding Nantwich as it is well signposted from all directions. If coming from the M6 leave at junction 16 and follow the A500 west direct to Nantwich (15 minutes). Special festival car parking is available as follows (download map here): Nantwich Town Football Club 175 spaces Fri/Sat/Sun. Malbank High School 120 spaces Sat/Sun. Best for visitors from Chester or Wrexham direction (approach town along A534 through Acton, turn left at lights under canal bridge and Malbank is first right) - it is only 5 minutes walk from Mill Island - map here. Brine Leas High School 150 spaces Sat/Sun. Best for visitors from Whitchurch or Audlem direction - it is 10 minutes walk from Mill Island - map here.  Barony Park over 200 spaces Sat/Sun. Best for visitors from Middlewich, Winsford, Crewe and the Potteries directions - it is 5 minutes walk from the Town Centre. Wyche Primary School 25 spaces Sat only.
