Cookery Demonstration Theatre On the hour, every hour | | Celebrities Clarissa Dickson Wright and the Beer Chef Richard Fox will both be creating their favourite dishes for visitors, using the very best in fresh produce from the region. Also performing, and completely NEW to Nantwich, is Guo Yue, a specialist in Chinese home cooking and a talented musician - we may get a bit of both! Low Mileage Menus Other talented local chefs will be teaching visitors the tricks of the trade using local produce, including Rookery Hall’s Gordon Campbell and Belle Epoque’s David Mooney. Ever eaten dandelion leaves or nettles? Interested in scoffing wild berries and flowers? If you think that these may tickle your taste buds, you should visit our wild food workshop. We have demonstrations of wild food cookery and fire starting led by celebrity forager Dave Watson with foraged food tastings taking place at regular intervals each day. Also join Dave on one of our foraging walks through the beautiful countryside of Nantwich Riverside - these depart from the wild food workshop on Mill Island at 3pm each day and are free of charge. |
